Kratom Soap: How to Make and Benefits

Kratom is frequently used in beauty treatments thanks to its exfoliating and moisturizing properties. It is also considered anti bacterial and is used in curing various skin infections. It is prepared using other popular ingredients like Avocado oil, olive oil and coconut oil which are reputed in treating and rejuvenating the skin.

Method of Preparation for Kratom Soaps

List of ingredients needed along with 6 oz of kratom powder:

  • 2 oz Avocado oil
  • 15 oz olive oil
  • 2 to 4 oz palm oil
  • 6 to 8 oz coconut oil
  • 1 oz Shea butter
  • 11 to 14 oz water
  • Glycerin
  • Some Jasmine or rose flowers for aroma.

Method of Preparation

Ingredients can be interchanged more or less according to your personal requirements or preference. For example you can use lavender flowers in the place of jasmine. Also you could use calendula flowers and Lye as extra ingredients. The possibilities for kratom soap are endless. 

As a first step, wear gloves to avoid any side effects that can be caused when directly exposed to the skin.

Spread a blanket or newspaper on the area of preparation to ensure there is no damage in case of spills.

Heat glycerin and when it starts melting add all the oils and mix them thoroughly with the Glycerin. A temperature of around 115 F is recommended to properly mix ingredients.

While the mixture is getting ready you can prepare soap molds at the same time.

Next, mix Lye with water while keeping your eyes protected with goggles. This precautionary measure will ensure protection against fumes.

Allow the liquid to cool down and once it is cooled you can mix it with oil solution. Now the mixture should start smelling like soap.

Next it is time to add Kratom powder and some dried flower powders or fresh flower for fragrance. Once mixed, put the mixture in the molds and allow it to dry for 24 hours. This is when the soap will form is gel like texture.
