Kratom (Mitragyna speciosa) is a tropical evergreen tree. This can be found in Southeast Asia as part of the Rubiaceae family together with coffee and gardenia. It can also be found in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Papua New Guinea. The leaves of the Kratom are the most important part of the tree. It is used by chewing or by drying and smoking. It is also used as tablets, capsules or extract. You can also boil the leaves and drink as tea.
Kratom results are different. The stimulant occurs even at low doses. The opioid-like depressant and euphoric effects can be experienced at high doses. Kratom is commonly used as treatment for pain, mild stimulation, and to help with the withdrawal from opiates.

Kratom Effects

Kratom has unique effects as a depressant and as a stimulant on lower doses and CNS side effects at high doses. Effects are dose-dependent and act fast. In 10 minutes of consumption, the effects can last up to 10 hours. Stimulant effects may include hyper-alertness, boosted physical energy, talkativeness, and other social behavior. The CNS depressant effects can be experienced at high doses.

Kratom Uses

Kratom is originally used to relieve pain. Through the years, a lot has changed and so as the use of Kratom. It helps to lower fever, a cough suppressant, helps lower blood pressure, as a local anesthetic, lowers blood sugar levels and an antidiarrheal. There are also reports that Kratom can enhance sexual functions. However, these effects are not scientifically based. These are just reports of those who have tried to use Kratom.

If you check the internet, Kratom is sold in a variety of forms. You can find it as a raw leaf, powder, gum, dried capsules, tablets or as a concentrated extract. The use of Kratom seemed to have spread all over the United States and Europe.The frightening news is that the college-aged population are reported to use Kratom than the more mature population.
There are no solid investigations done on the abuse and misuse of Kratom, so no one can really tell the extent of kratom use. Some believe that Kratom is a natural botanical product and it used by a large number of Americans every day.

The Side Effects of Kratom.

Since Kratom side effects are possible at low doses, this can be the reason why users increase their Kratom dose. By doing so, it can affect our system and might cause opioid-like side effects which may include:
